Hawaii Kai Lions Club

Hawaii Kai Lions Club celebrated their 34th Anniverary Charter Celebration at Hee Hing on April 13, 2007 with a banquet. Visiting from Japan were 30 Lions, Companions in service, family and friends from Nagoya Joto Lions Club. Charter members recognized were Delwin Ching, Bunny Lee, Toshio Nishioka, Richard Okamoto, and Richard Yee. Dennis Ching was presented Lion of the Year award by outgoing president Ken Nishibun. Nagoya Joto Lions Club president Noboru Hida gave their message and gift. DG Merv Wee gave the District Governor's message. PID Melvin Nakamujra talked on Sight First II. Jom Bryon showed a video on Hawaii Lions. New officers were installed . . . This is a partial highlight of the celebration.
